21st Century Learning at St Patrick’s utilizes the collection and analysis of student learning data to determine the learning experiences each student receives throughout the year. This constant use of data to inform teaching allows our teachers to deliver content within a students zone of proximal development. Meaning students prior knowledge and existing skills inform their “where to next”. As educators at St Patrick’s we also acknowledge the need to provide our teachers with constant professional development through the support of the Catholic Education Office and other external providers to ensure we stay abreast of current evidence based practises.
